Myles Turner Continues His Warm Initiative
This week, Myles Turner hosted two events in Indianapolis for the homeless: serving breakfast to about 100 people, and handing out more than 300 warm packages, which included socks, underwear, toiletries, snacks, and water.
As Myles said, “Throughout my life, my parents always kept care packages in the car. If they came across someone down on their lucky, they would give it to them. This was a small gesture that would provide that person with some comforts that we take for granted. I love the fact that I can continue this tradition in Indianapolis. When I go to sleep tonight I can rest well, knowing I made a difference in the community I love so much.”
