Kyle Lowry’s makes All-Star again in his new role
It seems that the four time All Star veteran is contributing to the Raptors in a new way this year. Although, Lowry is down an average 5 minutes per game this season he has greatly matured as a leader. What some would consider a down season for Lowry is actually turning out to be the opposite. When Lowry is out on the court he is making moves, averaging about 17 points per game and when he is sitting out he is a support system for the young guys on the team. This season the Raptors bench is a young one. He leads through his action plays and confidence, which the younger guys feed off on.
This season Lowry surpassed 11,000 points. Which just shows why he is headed back to his fourth All Star Weekend. We are expecting to see more great things out of Lowry throughout the rest of the season. Not to mention the Raptors are serious contenders to win the Eastern Conference and contend in the finals with their depth, style of play and their pick and roll offense.
