Kristaps Porzingis the All Star

Since being drafted to the Knicks in 2015, Porzingis has become a back-bone to the New York team. Starting off to an amazing season, Porzingis, has been averaging 23.7 points per game, 6.7 rebounds per game and leading the league in blocks with 2.4 per game. Not to mention scoring his career high against the Bulls with 44 points in early January. Porzingis has made it clear why he was chosen as an All Star this year.

Unfortunately, due to an untimely ACL tear to his left knee, Porzingis will have to sit out this year on All Star Weekend. There has been a tremendous amount of outreach and well wishes including the likes of LeBron James, Odell Beckham Jr., Gordon Hayward, and Dwyane Wade.  We hope to see a speedy recovery so that he can continue to improve and grow as the cornerstone player for the franchise.
